Installing on Windows and macOS

ZXP install on Windows, .dmg on macOS, and the most common install hiccups.

WINDOWS 1. Download the .zxp package from your download page. 2. Install it with a ZXP installer — the free aescripts ZXP Installer is the easiest: drag the file in, done. Adobe's own UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent also works. 3. Restart Premiere Pro and open Window → Extensions → BestSubtitle.

MACOS (Apple Silicon) 1. Download the .dmg from your download page. 2. Open it and run the installer. If you see "unidentified developer", right-click → Open — the build supports macOS 11+ on M-series Macs. 3. Restart Premiere Pro and open Window → Extensions → BestSubtitle.

COMMON ISSUES - The panel doesn't appear under Extensions: make sure Premiere was fully closed during install, and that you're on Premiere Pro 2019 (13.x) or newer. - An older or duplicate BestSubtitle entry shows up: uninstall previous versions first, then reinstall the latest package. - Still stuck? Email support@bestsubtitle.com with your Premiere version and OS — we answer every message.
