Exporting and deleting your data
GDPR-friendly: how to pull your data out, and how to permanently delete your account.
EXPORT — Your account data (profile, subscription and billing history) can be downloaded from the dashboard as JSON, in line with GDPR Article 20 (data portability). Note that your footage is never on our servers in the first place — the extension processes everything locally.
DELETE — You can delete your account from the dashboard. You'll need to type your email to confirm (anti-misclick).
What happens next: - Your account is marked deleted immediately and you're signed out. - Non-essential email stops at once. - You have 30 days to change your mind. Sign back in within that window and your account is restored exactly as you left it. - After 30 days, the account is hard-deleted. We can't recover it after that point.
PAUSE INSTEAD — If you just need a break, cancel your subscription instead. Your account stays; resubscribe whenever.
