How credits work

One credit is one minute of audio processed. A 2 minute 15 second video uses 3 credits (we round up to the nearest minute).

Credits come from three places: - Your monthly plan allowance (Starter 60, Pro 150, Agency 500). - Your free trial (5 minutes, one-time). - Bonuses: daily check-in, referral rewards, re-engagement gifts.

When a job FAILS — Whisper errors out, GPT-4o times out, anything on our end — credits are not deducted at all. You never pay for a broken job.

When a job SUCCEEDS we deduct credits at the end, atomically with the database update that marks the project complete. If you cancel mid-process the credits stay yours.

Monthly credits do not roll over to the next billing period. If you regularly have credits left, the next plan tier down probably saves you money. If you regularly run out, the next tier up is cheaper than buying overages.
