Editing & styling

Styling your subtitles

Pick a font, set colors, animate, and tweak the segmentation — everything you can do in the editor.

Open any completed project and you'll see the styling panels on the right.

TYPE — pick from 24 fonts, set size, weight and letter-spacing. Bold sans-serifs work well on most footage; condensed display fonts pair with vertical video.

MOTION — six entry animations (fade, slide, pop, drop, scale, glitch). Use sparingly on long-form; lean in on Shorts/Reels.

FX — outline width, drop shadow, glow, background box. The "Theme" presets in Layout combine these into one-click looks (Bold Yellow, Cinematic, TikTok, etc.).

EMPHASIS — make a specific word stand out: tap any word in the preview to mark it as primary / secondary / glow / wiggle. Great for catchphrases and product names.

KARAOKE — word-by-word highlight that follows the speaker. Pro feature; lights up the active word as the audio plays.

LAYOUT — lines per screen (1 or 2) and characters per line (10-40). These are hard constraints — when you change them, the entire transcript re-segments in front of you so you immediately see the effect.

FONTS — load additional Google Fonts on demand if the 24 built-ins aren't enough.

All changes are live — there's no Save button. When you're happy, hit Export.
